Building What’s Next: Preparing Keystone AI for New Markets

Last week, CGP Group brought together a new Business Development team in Manchester, UK, for an intensive week of training focused on technology, talent, and the next phase of Keystone AI’s growth.

Expanding an AI-powered talent delivery platform into a new market takes more than introducing a new technology. It requires people who understand the market, the challenges organizations face, and how technology can support better connections between talent and opportunity.

That was the focus of our training week in Manchester.

More Than Product Training

The goal was not simply to teach a new team how Keystone AI works.

It was about giving them a deeper understanding of CGP Group, the talent landscape, the technology behind Keystone AI, and the role they will play in bringing it to new organizations and markets.

Across four days, the team moved from learning the fundamentals to putting that knowledge into practice.

Understanding the Market

The week began with the bigger picture: who CGP Group is, what we are building with Keystone AI, and how the talent industry continues to evolve.

Understanding the market is an important part of introducing any new technology. Before starting conversations with organizations, the team needs to understand the challenges they are facing and where AI-powered talent delivery can add value.

Turning Knowledge Into Conversations

The next step was putting that knowledge into practice.

The team explored CGP Group’s approach to business development and how to start meaningful conversations with organizations. Rather than relying solely on scripts, the focus was on understanding the person on the other side of the conversation, asking the right questions, and identifying where there may be a genuine opportunity to help.

Role plays with colleagues and senior team members gave the team an opportunity to test different scenarios, receive feedback, and build confidence.

Getting Hands-On With Keystone AI

Technology was another important part of the week.

The team received a deeper look at the AI philosophy and strategy behind Keystone AI, the tools that support the platform, and how technology fits into the broader talent delivery process.

They also completed an end-to-end prospecting exercise inside the platform, putting their learning into practice rather than simply observing how the technology works.

This hands-on approach is important because AI is most valuable when people understand how to use it effectively within a broader workflow.

Building the Human Side of AI

While technology was a major part of the training, people remained at the center of it.

Keystone AI combines AI-powered technology with human expertise and industry knowledge. Building teams that understand both sides of that equation is essential as the platform continues to expand.

For the Manchester team, that meant getting to know colleagues across CGP Group, understanding how different parts of the business work together, and building the relationships that will support them as they move into their roles.

Led by the Team

The week was shaped by four people who each brought their own part of the business into the room. Samuel Cross, Chief Revenue Officer, opened with the vision behind CGP Group and where Keystone AI is headed. Adam Harrison, Partner at CGP Search, gave the team their grounding in recruitment as an industry. Louis Stanley, Group Sales Development Manager, led the outreach training and the role-play sessions that followed. And Alexander Naughton, AI Enablement Lead, walked the team through the AI philosophy and tools behind Keystone AI, running the hands-on prospecting exercise inside the platform itself.

Four different parts of the business, one shared goal: giving the Manchester team everything they needed to start strong.

From Training to Execution

By the final day, the team had moved from introductions and training to execution.

Working from CGP Group’s new Manchester office, the team set up their workstations, built their prospecting lists, and prepared to take what they had learned into their first week.

It marked the end of the training but more importantly, the beginning of the next stage.

Why This Matters for Keystone AI

Expanding into new markets means expanding the number of organizations that can discover a different approach to talent delivery.

For Keystone AI, that means more conversations with organizations. And those conversations can ultimately create more opportunities to connect people with roles that align with their skills, experience, and career goals.

The Manchester team is part of that next wave.

As Keystone AI continues to expand, the combination of AI-powered talent matching, industry expertise, and human connection will remain at the center of what we are building.

Manchester Is Just the Beginning

Four days of training gave the team the knowledge, tools, and connections to take their next step.

Now, the real work begins.

Welcome to the team. We’re excited to see what comes next.
